The SCAR's free floating barrels are quickly interchangeable by loosening six captive screws. All major windage and elevation adjustments are made at the permanently-attached front sight. Both US Government and manufacturer’s testing prove that when a SCAR barrel is removed and then reinstalled, it will return within one minute of angle (1 MOA) to the previously established zero.
